Les brivistes avaient un objectif comptable à obtenir contre Newport samedi mais ils devaient se rassurer dans le jeu après des dernières sorties peu convaincantes. Brive obtient sa qualification pour la suite de la compétition et réalise une belle prestation. Encourageant pour la suite.
